Introducing Data Loss Prevention for Office 365 as a new add-on offer
Effective September 1, 2018 the Data Loss Prevention feature for Microsoft Office 365 will be introduced as an add-on offer to existing Office 365 suites where it's not currently available. The Data Loss Prevention add-on for Office 365 enables administrators to create policies to control and protect sensitive information and prevent inadvertent disclosure.
Customers must own any of the following SKU’s to be able to purchase the Data Loss Prevention add-on offer:
- Microsoft Exchange Online Kiosk
- Microsoft Exchange Online Plan 1
- Microsoft Exchange Online Plan 2
- Microsoft Office 365 F1 (previously K1)
- Microsoft 365 F1
- Microsoft Office 365 E1
- Microsoft Office 365 Business Essentials
- SharePoint Online Plan 1
- OneDrive for Business Plan 1
