CSC Expands Financial Services Team in Australia

Sydney, Australia, 18 February 2010 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced the appointment of Simon Millett to director of banking within its Financial Services team.
In this newly created position, Millett will spearhead CSC’s banking strategy in Australia to increase the company’s footprint with new and existing clients.
“With over 22 years of experience, Simon has a track record of leading and building banking business operations in Australia, UK, the Pacific, Asia and Africa,” says Stephen Kowal, general manager of financial services for CSC. “He brings to CSC a deep understanding of the strategic challenges facing banks in Australia and globally.”

Background
Following an 11-year career in the Royal Australian Navy, Millett began a career in the financial services industry in 1988. As a management consultant at Westpac Banking Corporation in Sydney, he undertook roles in project management, business development, strategy and finance. Millett was consequently appointed as CEO of Pacific Commercial Bank in Samoa and managing director and CEO of Westpac Bank in Papua New Guinea.
In 2001, he joined Standard Chartered Bank PLC in London and then served as managing director and CEO in Sierra Leone. In 2003, he commenced a four-year assignment as managing director and CEO in Standard Chartered Bank in Nigeria. Most recently, Millett was Standard Chartered’s group head of service and operational excellence, based in Singapore.
As part of the CSC team, Millett will have immediate access to over 10,000 dedicated CSC banking and finance professionals around the world. He will be instrumental in bringing global best practices and banking technology leadership to help shape a more enhanced and integrated enterprise approach for CSC’s banking clients in Australia.

Millett has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney and a Master of Business Administration degree from Macquarie University, Sydney.
