CSC’S Jose Jimenez Recognized for Leadership in IT Industry

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Feb. 15 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) has honored Jose Jimenez, president of the company’s North American Public Sector (NPS) Strategy and Development Group, for his leadership in the information technology industry.
Jimenez received the Estrella award, which recognizes an industry leader who has made a major contribution to the advancement of technology and diversity. The Council honored Jimenez during the Annual IT Executive Achievement Awards Ceremony on February 11.

Jimenez is responsible for strategy and development, high growth market segments, innovation, delivery assurance, communications and government relations for NPS. He is also responsible for the formulation and execution of mergers and acquisition strategy. Prior to CSC’s acquisition of Nichols Research and Welkin Associates, Jimenez was president of national programs for Nichols and vice president and business unit leader of Welkin Associates.
