DXC Vietnam organizes Technology Day 2017 and Career Day for IT Students

The “Technology Day 2017” seminar was organized by DXC Vietnam at the Career Day at the University of Information Technology (UIT) of Ho Chi Minh City on Dec 2nd, 2017. More than 500 IT students have participated in the event with amazing enthusiasm. The Technology Day covered by 4 major tracks: Omni-Channel Overview, Omni-Channel Use Cases & Demo, Technology Trends and Jobs in this Digital Age.
Themed “Digital Disruption”, the event aimed to provide students the latest updates on the current and emerging technology trends and their impacts on our personal and professional lives as well as on our society. Particularly, this is a unique occasion for students to observe first-hand many complicated yet practical real-world projects and experiments from DXC Vietnam, a wholly owned subsidiary of DXC Technology – the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT service provider, focused on supporting our clients on their digital transformation journeys.
The Omni-Channel Overview session was to unbox a newly coined term "Omni-Channel" and scratching the surface of a cutting-edge next-gen Digital Architecture Landscape featuring an Outside-in Design Perspective. It also introduced a comprehensive solution to deliver consistent Omni-Channel User Experience across a variety of channels and devices. In this session, our DXC Vietnam experts also showcased just how compellingly Omni channel Platform could help bring legacy SOR (System Of Record) to Digital modern channels: Voice Conversation, AR experience, network-wide consensus channel embracing Blockchain technology.
Especially, in the Technology Trends & Jobs in this Digital Age session, the students also gained insights into mega trends and 2018 trends of next-gen technologies that disrupt the way people live, work and interact. This session was a great opportunity for students to be updated on what the in-demand skills are and how they could focus in order to be well prepared their future career in this Digital Age.
The Technology Day 2017 is also a chance for DXC Vietnam to grant 9 scholarships worth 45,000,000VND for outstanding IT students currently studying at UIT. These are those of the activities in the “DXC Vietnam University Relations Program” which has always been running by DXC Vietnam during past years. This year’s event has been a complete success and an amazing opportunity for students to get valuable insights about the next-gen technologies, seek for valuable advices pertaining necessary skills in the Digital Age directly from DXC Vietnam’ experts.
Also on this day, DXC Vietnam is proud to be the Gold sponsor for the Career Day organnized at the UIT. Over 700 students visited our booths to learn more about DXC Vietnam and a great number of senior students took the chance to have a job interview with DXC Vietnam technical experts. We surely invite students to join our upcoming fresher training programs in the near future.
