DXC Technology Asia’s inaugural CXO event, Executive Edge Asia was held from 22 -23 May 2019 in Tokyo, Japan; providing an opportunity for top business leaders to learn and apply emerging and advancing technologies that will transform our lives in the not-too-distant future.
Themed “Omotenashi” and “Digital Delivered,” invited guests, technology experts and futurists first gathered at the futuristic Konica Minolta Planetarium Tokyo on 22nd May to hear from thought leaders involved in cutting edge technologies, experts in AI and other business leaders who have already started their transformative digital journeys.
Koushik Radhakrishnan, VP & GM for Asia at DXC Technology kicked things off with his welcome remarks, before a round of industry keynotes, DXC executive sessions and customer fireside chats.
After lunch, the program continued with Chris Kutarna, two-time Governor General’s Medalist, Commonwealth Scholar, Fellow of the Oxford Martin School and Adjunct of the Oxford Saïd Business School; and co-author of Age of Discovery who delivered his keynote, “Leadership in the Second Renaissance.”
Capping off the first day’s agenda was a panel discussion in collaboration with the Wall Street Journal where an esteemed group of participants explored the topic of “Adoption of AI and Its Return on Investment”.
Moderated by Shaown Nandi, Chief Information Officer, Dow Jones, he was joined by Steve Leonard, Founding Chief Executive Officer, SGInnovate; Nandan Mer, Division President, Mastercard Worldwide; Nobu Kishi, CEO, Kishi & Associates and Sharepro Company and Richard Davies, VP, Digital Business, DXC Technology.
On the following day, 23rd May, joint technical sessions were held at the elegant Palace Hotel Tokyo with our key partners such as MicroFocus, AWS and Dell EMC before a lively and engaging panel session on what the future holds in “Destination Digital – Just over the Horizon”.
