1977.01 | Started business as an HP Business group of Samsung Electronics
1982.10 | Signed Agreement on computer technology introduction and manufacturing with HP
1984.09 | Established Samsung Hewlett-Packard in partnership with Samsung Electronics
1993.11 | Launched HP consulting Business group
1994.01 | Began running a downsizing system of Gwangju Bank as the first financial institution
1995.03 | Changed company name from Samsung Hewlett-Packard to Korea Hewlett-Packard
1997.01 | Received ISO9001 certification as the first overseas computer company
1998.05 | Took over 100% HP stake after buying Samsung Electronics’ shares within HP Korea
1999.11 | Separated measuring instrument sector as a 21st century strategy (Agilent Technologies)
2001.02 | Awarded NCSI in 2000
2002.05 | HP acquired Compaq computer
2004.10 | Awarded NCSI in 2004 – PC sector, Opened HP Korea R&D Center
2005.11 | Awarded the first prize innovation award in NCSI 2005
2006.10 | Certified as an excellent company with high service quality from the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy
2008.05 | Acquired Electronic Data System (EDS)
2015.11 | Separated into Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc.
2017.01 | Separated ES (Enterprise Service operation division) from Hewlett Packard Enterprise
2017.04 | Established DXC Korea after merger of HPE ES Korea and CSC Korea
