Standalone MDATP offers available
Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection
Summary
Standalone Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (MDATP) offers are available in Enterprise Agreement (EA) from February 1, 2020. Microsoft is removing the Windows E3 license pre-requirement from MDATP, thus allowing it for all supported devices.
DetailsThe removal of Windows E3 license pre-requirement from MDATP means that customers will be able to purchase MDATP for all their supported devices, regardless of their Windows E3 license ownership.
In order to enable this business model change for both commercial and education customers, they are launching standalone MDATP SKUs in enterprise on the February 1, 2020 price list.
These are the new SKUs:

There's also no change to existing Win E5, M365 E5 Security and M365 E5 offers, as those offerings will continue to include MDATP.
