HEALTH FUND OPERATING HOURS

DXC is pleased to advise that many of the HealthPoint participating health funds have extended their claiming hours to 24/7.

HCF SYSTEMS UPGRADE

HCF is currently undertaking a major systems upgrade.  As part of the transition, regular services including online and on the spot claiming channels will not be available between 8pm (AEST) Thursday 1 October and are scheduled to be back online from 6am Tuesday 6 October (AEDT).

Due to System changes, HCF have advised that there will be some changes to the HCF payment schedule in the final two weeks of September.

Below details the HCF settlement schedule for HealthPoint Providers.

 HCF will make the payments as follows:

Week Commencing

Tuesday (usual) payment day

AND

24 September

w/c 28 Sept

29 September

AND

1 October

w/c 5 Oct

6 October

 

 

On the 6th of October, payments will return to normal schedule of Tuesdays only.

EMERGENCY SERVICES HEALTH and POLICE HEALTH UPDATE

          

Emergency Services Health and sister fund Police Health are amalgamating over the weekend of 20 June 2020.

To facilitate the amalgamation, on-the-spot claiming for both Police Health and Emergency Services Health members will be temporarily disabled from Friday 19 June at 5pm (ACST) until Monday 22 June at 9am (ACST). During this time, patients are encouraged to claim via their funds mobile app – available for free download from both the Apple Store and Google Play.

From 22 June 2020, Emergency Services Health members will need to use their recently supplied NEW membership cards to have a claim processed through the HealthPoint terminal at your practice.

Police Health members will continue to use their existing membership cards.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE- 31st March 2020

CBA HealthPoint – Extension - 30 June 2020

In recognition of the current environment, CBA have today advised they are going to extend the HealthPoint service for three (3) months to 30 June 2020 for sites who have not yet processed a cancellation of their existing CBA terminal. 

If you are in this position and have not yet received correspondence from CBA, please keep your eye out for it, and contact CBA for confirmation.

DXC will continue to support your business and assist whereever we can with getting a replacement terminal in place as soon as possible. 

 


Defence Health – LIVE WITH CLAIM SETTLEMENT!

 

Defence Health is live with Claim Settlement from Tuesday 29 October 2019.

Payments from Defence Health will be consolidated with payments from other health funds participating in the DXC Claim Settlement Service. Payments will appear in your bank account as received from DXC.

Details of your transactions will be contained in your monthly statement issued by DXC.

This should make your reconciliations easier!


Bupa – LIVE WITH CLAIM SETTLEMENT!

Bupa is live with Claim Settlement from Wednesday 11th September 2019.

DXC is pleased to announce that your successful payments from Bupa will now be consolidated with payments from other Health Funds participating in DXC’S Claim Settlement Service and shown in your bank account as received from DXC.

Details of your transactions will be contained in your monthly statement issued by DXC.

This should make your reconciliations easier!

AUSTRALIAN UNITY – LIVE WITH CLAIM SETTLEMENT!

 

 

Australian Unity is live with Claim Settlement from Tuesday the 18th of June 2019.

DXC is pleased to announce that your successful payments from Australian Unity will now be consolidated with payments from other Health Funds participating in DXC’S Claim Settlement Service and shown in your bank account as received from DXC.

Details of your transactions will be contained in your monthly statement issued by DXC.

This should make your reconciliations easier!

 


Private Health Insurance Reforms - Naturopaths

Due to Federal Government changes, from 1 April 2019, all Health Funds will no longer be able to cover Naturopath claims.  From this date onward Health Funds will not accept any Naturopath claims attempted, including via HealthPoint terminals.  A message with more detail has been sent to your terminal however if you require further clarification, please contact our Support Desk on  1300 301 692.

DXC HealthPoint suggest all your patients are advised of this change prior to their next appointment. For more details we suggest referring your patients to their Health Fund.

Of course, the eftpos on your terminal will continue to work as normal.
