DXC Technology Joins Oracle PartnerNetwork Cloud Managed Services Provider Program
Oracle PartnerNetwork Cloud Managed Services Provider Program Recognizes DXC for strong expertise and global capability in Oracle Cloud Platform
DXC Technology, a Cloud Select and Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), has announced their admission into the Oracle PartnerNetwork Managed Services Provider (MSP) Program at Oracle OpenWorld, the annual Oracle conference for business decision makers, IT management and end users.
The Oracle Cloud MSP Program recognizes DXC’s skills and expertise to build, deploy, run, and manage both Oracle and non-Oracle workloads on Oracle Cloud Platform. The program enables OPN members to offer a complete managed service solution for workloads running on Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Tom Johnson, Global Oracle practice leader for DXC Technology, said, “This is an excellent achievement for DXC. To be accredited as one of the recognized Managed Service Providers in the OPN program for Oracle Cloud globally validates DXC’s ability in this space. This acknowledgement, alongside our proven track record of successful Oracle Cloud implementation across the globe, is another step forward in providing our customers with an end-to-end solution.”
DXC has worked with Oracle Database, Middleware and Applications since 2000. More recently, since 2017, DXC Technology has been delivering Managed Services on Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS Cloud Services. DXC also has strong expertise in implementing Oracle Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) with a focus on Oracle ERP, HCM, EPM, SCM and CX Cloud services.
“DXC have a very strong commitment to Oracle Cloud Platform,” said Ed Omland, Vice President Worldwide Strategic Alliances, Oracle. “The MSP program enables Oracle to work hand-in-hand with our partners to provide the solutions and services needed to accelerate time to value and success in the cloud. DXC Technology has demonstrated their capacity, skills, tools and processes to receive this accreditation, providing customers the complete solution they need to optimize their cloud initiatives.”
MSPs qualify into the program by exemplifying their capacity to manage customers’ cloud infrastructure, and/or end-user systems, and provide services including cloud advisory, service migration, DevOps, provisioning and orchestration, monitoring, 24x7 monitoring, incidence and change management, and cloud optimization, among many others. Upon qualification, Oracle Cloud Managed Service Providers can purchase Oracle Cloud Platform products for customers, package their MSP services, and provide a complete solution to the customer.
The program satisfies the demands of industry trends toward datacenter transformation, with many customers seeking to outsource their datacenters to the public cloud, shift their resources to areas of strategic innovation, and benefit from purchasing a complete solution from a single source.
