Citizen engagement platform
DXC is currently working with health agencies locally, and overseas including organisations in China and Italy to deliver digital solutions specifically targeting the management of COVID-19.
With the escalating pressure and demand on healthcare services increasing every day, DXC is leveraging the learnings gained from the collaboration with these organisations, to make purpose-designed solutions available here. We are ready to support government agencies and the health sector at large, using our experience to deliver digital solutions at scale.
Rapid deployment solution
Being able to provide clear and concise information to citizens is paramount to the effective management of the COVID-19 crisis.
Partnering with Dedalus, a European leader in healthcare IT systems, DXC is able to offer the rapid deployment of a citizen engagement platform, to enable healthcare agencies to effectively communicate and coordinate care with citizens.
This solution, which can be configured and ready to support your organisation within weeks, leverages pre-defined workflows and ready-to-use medical questionnaires, and presents a citizen-centric view to simplify and speed up operational management during the COVID-19 emergency.
Already successfully deployed in Italy, this solution is helping one of the most affected regions monitor and coordinate services at scale.
Citizen engagement platform
Using mobile device technology, the citizen engagement platform can quickly reach and engage an entire population to capture details and understand the health status of registered users.
- The solution is pre-packaged and easily configurable, it can be deployed in weeks
- It includes an intuitive web application with a ready-to-use workflow and clinical questionnaires
- It allows easy authentication and verification of patients, avoiding complex integration efforts thereby avoiding potential bottlenecks and alleviating growing demand on call centres
The app collects detailed information on registered patients which supports:
- Management and coordination based on precise data
- Risk stratification of patients or groups at risk
- Tracking the evolution of symptoms over time for individuals or groups
- Real-time forecasting of demand by geographic location
- Aggregation of pertinent information in dashboards providing data insights to centralised command and control centres, helping to anticipate needs
The control centre console with dashboards enables COVID-19 clinical and operational teams to review and filter real-time information from citizen questionnaires and to send notifications to health units to activate specific pathways. Where recommended care pathways result in self-isolation or quarantine, functionality in the platform can be turned on to activate quarantine management, home monitoring and care coordination.
