DXC Red Rock: Supporting mission critical Oracle information systems
Companies face a major challenge with continuing normal business operations in the midst of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. DXC Red Rock would like to extend our support to Oracle customers to help them maintain business continuity in the face of adversity and create plans to ensure safe working conditions moving forward.
Workforce health and safety planning
Oracle is providing free access to its Workforce Health and Safety solution to customers for the next year — or as long as they require — to help them deal with the coronavirus crisis. This offer, which is available to Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud customers in production, will help clients manage key workplace health and safety issues. Organisations can assess their ability to respond to critical questions including:
- Who in my organisation has been exposed to the virus?
- Have the communal areas of the buildings been appropriately cleaned?
- Do we have adequate supplies for cleaning and for protecting staff?
- How do I reach staff to let them know an incident has occurred?
- Do I need to notify local public health authorities? What data should I share?
- How can I be sure we have followed up on an incident, and implemented corrective action?
Think of this module as serving as an “incident response button” that helps human resources (HR) professionals and managers answer these questions and take the appropriate action to keep employees safe.
The Workforce Health and Safety module automates the reporting of workplace incidents and issues. It helps organisations adapt to heightened health and safety concerns by automatically reporting potentially dangerous conditions such as the failure to clean a conference room after it’s been used. Under ordinary circumstances, this wouldn’t be a top priority, but now it’s critically important for the issue to be addressed immediately.
