Driving ICT capabilities and operational enablement at the cutting edge of innovation
At DXC, we understand that the Australian Defence Force (ADF) members are the backbone of our national security and we need to ensure the welfare of our defence personnel so they can do their job safely and return home to their families.
DXC has worked extensively with the Department of Defence (DoD) in implementing and/or supporting their entire SAP and Microsoft environments, together with about 30 other applications. Solutions cover:
- The business of Defence - including core/backend IT systems, finance, and application sustainment (CIOG)
- Defence execution (CASG) - front line and warfighter operations - with solutions touching almost every aspect from recruitment to discharge.

Bringing together multiple partners to achieve Defence outcomes
Government projects often involve third-party partners, and this is also the case with the DoD. Achieving project outcomes requires these parties to successfully work together towards shared goals. DXC has demonstrated this ability over several years with many successful projects.
Using our domain knowledge to bring a future focus for Defence
As we look to the future, DXC is focused on leveraging existing projects and solutions to help DoD further modernise and exploit technology to expand capacity through digital services. This includes upgrades, integration and sustainment projects in collaboration with DoD; as well as working with the CIO Group (CIOG) on strategies to drive and manage an innovation program and new ways of partnering with industry to solve real problems quickly and cost-effectively. DXC is already a significant partner for DoD with a goal to make digital transformation a force multiplier.
