Bringing together industry expertise and cutting edge technology
Many of our subject matter experts are ex-warfighters, bringing with them their experience and first-hand understanding of the frontline. Our SME’s provide an excellent understanding of the issues, business problems, and required outcomes from the users’ perspective.
DXC utilises our breadth of experience and leverages our skilled SMEs to create simulators that are ready for combat situations with adequate training, making a difference to warfighter capability.
DXC’s ex-warfighters are actively involved and are passionate about contributing to some of the following projects:
- End-to-end recruitment of the warfighter - from initial recruitment to retirement
- Simulation and training – ensuring our frontline are trained and ready for combat
- Enabling the department through critical applications available for real-time decision making
- Collaboration to support the warfighter - intelligence systems to bring them home safe
- eHealth App – Keeping track of the health of our warfighters from enlistment to discharge and ensuring a healthy warfighter from information to battlefield
Some of our experts

“Since I have real life experience in combat, I can use this to help DXC develop warfare simulations for the Navy. I can also work closely with the Navy to understand their needs and communicate these to DXC so that we can shape the simulation to capture the desired outcome.” - Troy Hartas, Defence Simulation Support (Ex Navy Warfighter)

“I feel I bring to this role experience and knowledge from an industry perspective. Having come from a Navy background, I’ve spent a lot of time in an operations room and operating the combat system so I can leverage off this experience and contribute to the capability we are providing." – Melinda Templeton, Project Manager (Ex Navy Warfighter)
MOBOTS Simulated Warfare
“The simulated environment provided by MOBOTS is suffciently realistic to allow more complex and intense training that is gaining higher quality results. The ship’s company are now able to progress through the unit readiness workup process faster, in particular with Air Warfare and Anti-Ship missile defence training. We have therefore been able to reduce the total time of a workup which has saved the Navy sea days and money.” Learn more about our simulated warfare capabilities.
