DXC announced it will be donating 15 refurbished laptops to Clontarf Foundation Academy students participating in the Indigenous Men’s Community Competition, to mark the 30th anniversary celebration of the Imparja Cup, hosted by NT Cricket.

DXC teams up with Dell Technologies and AMY Nominees to donate reconditioned laptops to Umoona Community Council, a First Nations not-for-profit organisation based in rural Coober Pedy, South Australia.
DXC Technology is delighted to have donated 40 reconditioned laptops to the Tjindu Foundation for the Aboriginal AFL Academy, a specialised curriculum-based program that caters to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students attending school in South Australia.
With limited access to technology, the senior students at Tagai State Secondary College on Thursday Island in the Torres Strait have been the proud recipients of new laptops.
In a significant advantage for the students, the joint initiative between Origin Energy, the Origin Energy Foundation and DXC Technology saw 60 repurposed laptops donated to the school along with two specialised laptop trolleys for charging.
Supply Nation member DXC Technology continues its community technology enablement initiatives, donating 15 refurbished Dell laptops to upgrade the technology quotient of registered charity, Brisbane Indigenous Media Association Ltd.
The Association has been operating out of Brisbane on 98.9FM as an essential service for the whole of the community since 1991. It is well known as a voice for First Nations peoples, and for its unique blend of country and Indigenous music.
As an expansion of DXC Technology’s traditional Community Technology Enablement Program (CTEP), DXC has partnered with Tronic Telecommunications to donate over 100 VOIP phones and associated switch infrastructure to the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS). The VAHS’s have offices in Fitzroy, Preston and Epping, and provide a comprehensive range of medical, dental and social services to the First Nations communities living in and near these areas.
The phones will enable VAHS to continue to deliver critical services to members of their community. Michael Graham, CEO of VAHS, said, “This technology upgrade will put us back on a technology path aligned with the important services we provide for the community. It has enabled VAHS to increase our capacity in trying to meet our increased demand across all our services and sites. We’re grateful to DXC and Tronic for their donation of equipment and services.”
Yass Highschool receives technology boost from Industry
In a cross-industry initiative to support rural and regional Indigenous programs and technology enablement for Indigenous students, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia is leading a consortium of partners to provide much needed equipment for rural and regional communities. In this tranche of technology donation to Yass Highschool in rural NSW, the consortium partners include DXC Technology, Telstra, and local Supply Nation-certified Indigenous technology and logistics company, Willyama Services.
Yass Highschool Principal, Linda Langton, said, “We are extremely grateful to be receiving these 30 reconditioned laptops. With COVID19, our existing supply of devices has been diminished to support schooling from home.”
Doomadgee, Ravenshoe and Kowanyama State Schools
DXC Technology is delighted to have partnered with LiteHaus International to donate 150 reconditioned laptops to First Nations students from Doomadgee, Ravenshoe and Kowanyama State Schools. These schools are in some of the most remote areas of Australia, and consequently face significant barriers to accessing educational resources.
“The impact that technology has on these kids’ lives cannot be underestimated; it allows them to learn, play and connect in new ways, whilst providing the means to develop critical life skills, such as tech literacy,” said Stuart Meadley, First Nations Program lead.

Launched in a ceremony with the Hon. Ken Wyatt AM, Federal Minister for Indigenous Australians in Canberra, the Reflect RAP sets out DXC’s commitment to supporting First Nations peoples, communities and businesses in Australia.
NT Cricket and DXC announced a partnership, focused on supporting the development of Territory players and including sponsorship of NT Cricket's annual Imparja Cup. DXC will also develop a centre of excellence in the NT as a hub for innovation, skills development and delivery of services.
