How Douglas Pharmaceuticals are addressing complex demand planning with SAP IBP.
Leading New Zealand Pharmaceutical manufacturer recently partnered with DXC Oxygen to trial SAP IBP for 90 days in order to assess how the solution could assist with improving visibility, responsiveness, and resiliency in their supply chain, both during and post COVID-19 impacts.
In this presentation, DXC Oxygen Principal SCM Consultant Denis Franov will step attendees through how he approached designing a high level Proof of Concept (POC) for Douglas’s SAP’s Integrated Business Planning solution to achieve business value from the trial and provide understanding of IBP capability and benefits which will help inform Douglas Pharma’s plans to formally implement a solution.
Hear from Douglas’s IBP and Supply Planning manager Dean Buttel on how the trial has demonstrated to the business the benefit of digitally harmonising their demand and supply functions, ensuring supply teams can have access to the most up-to-date customer requests in weekly or monthly detail.
Dean will share the key learnings and takeaways gained from the 90 day trial, how they are approaching their business plan to deploy across the business and also how they intend to leverage the sophisticated algorithms to identify trends and highlight risks and opportunities across the extended supply network to enable the anticipated significant supply chain planning and key performance improvements.
