DXC CSO’s lead the client in security discussion making sense of the market, current threat landscape, all the time optimising security approaches to tackle the present and future. The CSO works closely with clients to provides guidance across, economic, regulatory and technical and industry issues.
CSOs are responsible for:
- developing scalable and complex solutions to reduce an organisation's exposure to security threats
- operating as an executive advisor and trusted representative of DXC within a client.
- help account teams to create the circumstances by which DXC and the target client can do business, drive value and solve issues.
- understanding and offering the most appropriate risk approach, offer architecture guidance and translate practical approaches with effective mitigation pathway
- advising C-level personnel such as CISOs and CIOs within client organizations, as well as to support DXC account and delivery organisations in reaching security goals and revenue targets
- assisting with the development and positioning of effective cyber and risk strategies for a given client.
- bringing best practices to organisations using industry expertise, DXC intellectual property and wider security networks to meet immediate needs or planned architectural and business plans.

Inject leadership expertise into your business
CSO have the minimum experience outlined below.
- 15+ years of experience as a consultant or advisor in Information Risk Management and/or IT Security space
- Detailed understanding of, and experience in, IT Security, Information Security and Security Management
- Experience in working with executives and senior management within clients to capture requirements and formulate solutions
- Australian Citizen with a current security clearance or eligible for a clearance at NegVet1 level
- Demonstrable experience in delivering ICT security outcomes within the Australian Government security context or in the financial services sector
- Experience in delivering security services within industry frame works.
- Understanding of security solutions including basic design principles, data flow, connectivity and configuration
- Superior interpersonal skills backed by a successful track record in business negotiations and decision making
- Excellent presentation skills, able to drive control and deliver outcomes.
- Ability to acquire and apply new technology concepts to client business models and requirements
