DXC Healthcare has local expertise and deep patient management expertise
As a provider of patient administration systems in Australia and New Zealand for more than 30 years, we know PAS. In fact, 70% of Australian public hospitals and 20 out of 20 New Zealand District Health Boards use DXC solutions and services. We have successfully implemented more patient management systems than any other vendor and have robust processes for migrating data and reducing implementation risk.
To this legacy, commitment and capacity we also bring agility. Our digital health solutions facilitate innovation and leverage our partner ecosystem so that you can rapidly adapt to new challenges and take on new technologies.
DXC Care Suite is a flexible starting point for digital health
Our PAS is part of the DXC Care Suite, which includes clinicals and is an element of the Digital Health Platform. Collectively, these elements provide a comprehensive patient record and an interoperable "digital ready" open and application programming interface (API) enabled ecosystem for innovation and information sharing.
Each organisation has its own priorities and needs to leverage existing investments. For some the focus is on modernising an aging patient administration system while for another it might be about introducing new clinical functionality, or establishing an ecosystem to support digital health initiatives. Regardless, the DXC Care Suite and Digital Health Platform provide the flexibility to add capabilities according to your priorities.
A track record of implementation success
In the National Health Service (NHS) of the United Kingdom, i.PM (the most successful PAS in Australia) has been replaced by a PAS of the future. This modernisation is part of the NHS program "Personalised Health and Care 2020"
To continue driving digital transformation across leading trusts, the NHS has created the Digital Exemplar Programme.
12 NHS Trusts have been invited to join the programme, to work towards objectives that include: reducing variation, improving quality, reducing operating costs and time to embed digitally enabled practice, developing blueprints and acting reference sites for other trusts during and after the programme.
Exemplars are also a key part of the Driving Digital Maturity programme which aims to ensure that the NHS is paperless at the point of care.
