Banks and financial services providers in the payments industry are facing ever-increasing regulations and evolving standards. DXC Celeriti Global Payment Transaction System (PTS) meets the challenge, increasing efficiencies and driving costs down.
There is the need to consolidate cash management processes for banks or payment service providers across the globe. The adoption of ISO 20022-based payment messages harmonizes and standardizes more and more of the cross-border and also national payment transaction infrastructures. TARGET in Europe and SWIFT payment messaging are two examples.
The move into ISO 20022 messages includes challenges and opportunities. Required updates must not only be made to the payments system, but also to the entire processing chain, which includes many legacy systems, causing laborious integrations and tests. DXC's Ceriti PTS not only supports ISO 20022 in full, but also allows conversions into and out of legacy formats where applicable. The opportunity is the reduction in complexity in payments processing and therefore lower cost in a centralized environment. Celeriti Global PTS enables banks to take full advantage of this opportunity.
Celeriti Global PTS is a standard but customizable software suite with a web-based front end that enables banks to meet clearing and settlement requirements without major investments. It delivers efficient and cost-effective straight-through processing (STP) of global electronic payment transactions.
