Message for CSC and HPE ES Suppliers
On April 3, 2017, CSC and the Enterprise Services (ES) business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise merged to create the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company: DXC Technology.
Contracts with current CSC and ES suppliers are generally unaffected by this change, given that legacy CSC and ES legal entities will remain as part of the DXC Technology organization and activities will continue “business as usual” after April 3, 2017. Unless otherwise specifically negotiated, all agreements and deliverables remain unchanged.
The DXC Technology Supply Chain organization will begin to review third-party agreements with suppliers that previously served both CSC and ES. You may be contacted by our Supply Chain team if you currently provide goods/services to either or both organizations.
Regarding day-to-day ongoing business operations:
- Purchase Orders (POs) will continue to be issued under existing organizations.
- Customer and contact information for CSC and ES should remain unchanged in your systems until further information is provided.
- All invoices for CSC and ES agreements and POs should continue to be issued using the details specified in those documents and using the existing systems and methodologies currently in place.
- You may receive emails from the new “dxc.com” as opposed to the existing email address domain names “csc.com” or “hpe.com”. You should continue to use the existing email addresses until advised otherwise.
Please ensure your technical teams add dxc.technology to their existing TLS configuration. This will ensure that any system related interactions/communications between our organizations continue to function without issues.
NOTE: ES and CSC are affiliates under the common control of DXC. Therefore, to the extent that the rights and obligations under any ES supplier contracts can by their terms be extended to affiliates of ES, then such affiliates include CSC and CSC affiliates. And to the extent that the rights and obligations under any CSC supplier contracts can by their terms be extended to affiliates of CSC, then such affiliates include ES and ES affiliates.
