DXC Signs a Contract with thyssenkrupp to Migrate SAP Services to the Cloud

DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) today announced that it has signed a five-year contract with multinational industrial engineering and steel production company thyssenkrupp. DXC will implement a multicloud platform leveraging DXC Virtual Private Cloud and Public Cloud services to migrate thyssenkrupp’s SAP services to the cloud and support the company on its digital transformation journey.
DXC will draw on its multicloud strategy, as well as its experience modernizing IT and securing its customers’ workloads across the cloud, to enable thyssenkrupp to work with greater security and agility. To simplify processes, the orchestrated cloud solution will be implemented together with DXC’s automation platform DXC Bionix™. Automating processes and moving workloads to the cloud will enhance the user experience and will give thyssenkrupp’s employees greater flexibility in their daily work.
