“As the IT industry embarks on the digital journey to hybrid cloud, the enterprise architect becomes a critical catalyst leading our clients’ transformation.”
-- Bob Eastham
Bob Eastham helps shape DXC Technology's platform strategies and next generation offering development. Bob has worked successfully, and often concurrently, on numerous multi-million dollar infrastructure programs, through full life cycle.
Bob joined an embryonic architecture team in 1996 as one of three in an architect role. Bob was a key leader, helping the architecture team grow to over 500 members globally. He held a number of lead architecture roles including projects for BAE SYSTEMS and JP Morgan. During this time, he helped drive standard products, architectures and solutions across the account base and was held accountable for all storage architecture. He was also responsible for the technical relationship with EMC, HDS, IBM, NetApp and VERITAS.
Bob’s practical architecture experience across a far-reaching set of engagements and projects is one reason he’s frequently called upon by clients and colleagues to contribute ideas. His forward-thinking vision both addresses the initial challenges for every project and provides the foundation to drive incremental opportunity.
Bob demonstrated ability to drive consensus when serving as lead architect of the Project Heracles engagement. He was responsible for developing an architecture with input from a large number of partners who each wanted to contribute and ensure their technologies were portrayed in the best light. Bob led the development of an innovative solution that met client requirements, was competitively priced, and was validated by the contributing technology partners.
