Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Chris Drumgoole is executive vice president and chief information officer for DXC Technology. He leads DXC’s global IT strategy and operations, helping the company meet and exceed the technology needs of its customers. Mr. Drumgoole heads a team responsible for integrating and streamlining systems, implementing new digital capabilities to improve performance and efficiency, and ensuring the security and stability of DXC’s global IT infrastructure.
Mr. Drumgoole is a well-known leader with more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including significant work with the U.S. government.
He most recently served as chief information officer at GE, where he led the company’s global technology operations, including applications, infrastructure and related shared services. Prior to that, he was GE’s chief technology officer. Mr. Drumgoole joined GE from Verizon, where he was chief operating officer of Verizon’s Terremark subsidiary, a cloud, hosting, and data center provider.
Mr. Drumgoole is on the Board of Directors of PetSmart; on the Advisory Board of Florida International University’s College of Engineering & Computing; and on the Board of Directors of ONUG, a forum for IT business leaders interested in open technologies.
He studied management information systems (MIS) at Pace University in New York. Mr. Drumgoole is a volunteer with Year Up, which provides mentorship and job opportunities to young people in urban areas to help them meet their potential.
