Best moments from the Junior Achievement Lithuania (LJA) Entrepreneurship Camp
News Article -- August 24, 2016
On August 23, three of our colleagues from the Project and Program Management department participated in the Junior Achievement Lithuania Entrepreneurship Camp for pupils. They organized a special LEGO simulation workshop according to the Scrum methodology. In such an entertaining way the basic information about the Scrum methodology (roles and responsibilities, values, and framework) was introduced for the children.
After the introduction, kids were assigned to four groups and worked together on one big project – a map of one of the Dubai islands. The model of the island should have included the main objects of Lithuania (the Gediminas castle, Vilnius Cathedral, the Trakai castle, the Puntukas stone and others). In order to create this model, children used different LEGO parts, paper, markers and their imagination. The job was completed after three iterations and the teams were very happy about this experience. Participants were not only engaged in the activity, but also had many questions about CSC global and CSC Baltic. Some of them were interested in future internship opportunities with us. Our team was very happy to receive such positive comments and a great feedback from both organizers and participants.
Big thanks goes to our colleagues for sharing their knowledge with the schoolkids and representing CSC!
