CSC Wins $25 Million Naval Network Services Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 26 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic awarded the company a contract to provide integrated network services to naval fleet users overseas. The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total contract value to $25 million. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company’s fiscal 2010 fourth quarter that ended April 2, 2010.
Under the terms of the contract, CSC will provide information technology infrastructure support for ONE-NET — the OCONUS (outside the continental United States) Navy Enterprise Network. ONE-NET provides technical capabilities, such as secure Internet network access, for deployed and support forces at 14 overseas fleet bases and stations in the Far East, the Middle East and Europe. CSC will perform work in multiple locations around the world.
