CSC Wins Department of Transportation Volpe Center Support Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Sept. 13 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today it is one of five companies to be awarded the Volpe Transportation Information Project Support Services (V-TRIPS) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, which is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA). The five-year contract has an estimated total value of $234 million for all firms.
Under the terms of the contract, CSC will compete for task orders to provide information technology services from concept development to systems development and operational support associated with the Volpe Center’s mission to deliver innovative transportation systems.
