CSC Wins $33 Million Department of Veteran Affairs Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Dec. 15 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the company was awarded a task order under the General Services Administration’s Schedule 70 contract to provide software development services to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). The task order, which was awarded during CSC’s fiscal 2011 second quarter, has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total value to $33 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC, along with subcontractor Helpdesk Response, Inc. will provide information technology and software development services to the VA’s Financial Services Center (FSC). CSC will analyze, develop, test, implement and maintain the software for the center. The FSC offers a wide range of financial and accounting products and services to both the VA and other government agencies.
