CSC Wins $60 Million Task Order to Support the U.S. Navy Aviation Simulator Training Mission

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Jan. 25 – The U.S. Navy has awarded CSC (NYSE: CSC) a task order to instruct naval aviation simulator training programs as part of its ongoing national defense mission. With an estimated $60 million total value, the task order, awarded during CSC’s fiscal 2012 third quarter, has a one-year base period and four one-year options. It was awarded under the Fielded Training Systems Support (FTSS) III contract, originally awarded to CSC in 2010.
A recognized leader in training and simulation services for the U.S. military, CSC will provide instructors for naval aviation simulator training at four naval air stations in Oceana and Norfolk, Va., and Jacksonville and Mayport, Fla. CSC will perform this work with its primary subcontractor, Logistic Services International, Inc., a training company headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla.
