CSC’s Dr. Robert M. Wah Ranked in the Top 10 of Modern Physician and Modern Healthcare’s 50 Most Influential Physician Executives List

FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 21 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that Modern Physician and Modern Healthcare magazines ranked Dr. Robert M. Wah, chief medical officer and vice president of CSC’s North American Public Sector (NPS) business unit, number 10 in their annual ranking of the 50 Most Influential Physician Executives, published in April. Nearly 2,700 physician executives were nominated for the eighth annual ranking and, for the top 100 candidates, nearly 17,000 ballots were cast to determine the top 50. This is Dr. Wah’s fourth appearance on the list.
“This ranking is a testament to the level of dedication Dr. Wah has toward improving healthcare for our clients and their constituents,” said Dave Zolet, president of CSC’s NPS business unit. “His invaluable experience and expertise in health information systems support our efforts to deliver better information for better decisions. In 2011, Dr. Wah was ranked number 12 in Modern Healthcare’s annual ranking of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare, published in August. Currently, Dr. Wah is leading CSC’s strategic health initiative to harness thought leadership and experience across the company’s public, commercial and global healthcare business lines in an effort to further the company’s commitment to offering technology solutions that support the Obama Administration’s stimulus and healthcare reform legislation. In addition to his work at CSC, he is also chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association. Dr. Wah continues to see patients and perform surgery at the National Institutes of Health and National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
