Put customers in control of their own claims
In a market environment that places increased importance on both efficiency and high-levels of customer service, a more digital claims process is becoming a key competitive advantage. By putting customers in control of their own claims – thereby delivering an engaging user experience – insurers can improve customer satisfaction and retention rates. Meanwhile, by leveraging data analytics for enhanced fraud detection and forward-looking market and customer information, insurers can simultaneously reduce costs and make better-informed business decisions.
With those business drivers in mind, DXC has enhanced its portfolio of claims offerings through a new relationship with and equity position in 360Globalnet, a company offering advanced digital, cloud-based claims solutions that let customers easily manage the end-to-end claims process via the Internet. 360Globalnet’s self-serve digital claims technology provides unique capabilities in self-service, intelligent systems, smart mobile devices, live-streaming video, data analytics and fraud detection.
Under the terms of the agreement, DXC has exclusive worldwide rights to resell all 360Globalnet offerings to the insurance industry. Delivered as a service, these innovative and integrated digital, cloud-based claims solutions complement DXC’s existing product portfolio for insurance and align closely to our digital insurance strategy.
Through this arrangement, DXC and 360Globalnet can enable insurers, TPAs and self-insured organizations to shorten the time to claim settlement from days to hours, while also helping to reduce fraud and equipping decision makers with improved performance data.
360Globalnet offerings include:
- Cloud (Amazon EC2) hosted web services that enable the policyholder or claimant to report and manage their claim online, with the ability to upload videos, images, text and documents in a manner suited to the specific incident.
- A full featured video platform, including a configurable workflow capability, designed for any business scenario in which video imagery is used. This capability facilitates the capture, secure hosting and dissemination of videos and images without the need to download software or apps.
- Live video streaming services to bring events and situations direct to the insurer's desk in high quality and real-time. The live streaming service is optimized to work alongside specialized, cellular bonded hardware which performs reliably even in areas of low connectivity. This device combines multiple SIM cards across diverse networks to create an ultra-portable, reliable mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. Live video streaming is setup as a ‘plug and play’ service which requires no integration with an insurer’s existing systems.
- A data analytics package which enables insurers to gain access to and analyze more of the data available to them, across multiple formats including PDF and scanned documents. This combines strong fraud detection capabilities, performance statistics and industry information to provide a forward looking view of the business, leading to better informed business decisions. Designed with self-service in mind, users can easily structure and submit inquiries without the involvement of IT or data analysts, and visualize the results in hundreds of different ways.
