DXC Internal/External Community Privacy Policy

The DXC Internal/External Community (“Community”) Privacy Policy is included here for your reference.

DXC has adopted this Community Privacy Policy in order to ensure visitors and Registered Users and/or their companies of DXC’s commitment and dedication to privacy and data protection. The following Community Privacy Policy applies to "The DXC Internal/External Community" (Community), as it is defined in the DXC Internal/External Community Registered User Agreement. DXC respects your right to privacy. In order to access current content, you will be required to register and agree to mutual terms and conditions and then log in with each use. For all data we request (and that you choose to give us), we will let you know how we will use such data.

1. Collection of IP Addresses

Whether you register or not, when you visit the Community, some information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address; Internet service provider; operating system; the service from which you arrived; the page you requested; and the time and date of your visit will be collected automatically as part of the software processes of the Web page. This intake of personally identifiable information happens with each visit of the Web page.

2. Aggregated Statistics

DXC collects statistics about the behavior of visitors to its Web sites. It does this through the use of Adobe Omniture, as well as Google Analytics. These capabilities allows DXC to analyze the performance of its Web sites and make improvements, where needed. Generally, this information is kept as long as required to support the improvements of the Community.

3. Use of "Cookies"

A cookie is a string of information that a Web site deposits on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the Web site each time the visitor returns. Cookies are used to help DXC identify and track visitors; their usage of the Community Web site; and their Web site access preferences. Visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using DXC’s Web site, with the drawback that certain features of the Web site may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

4. Registration

Should you chose to register to access the premium content of the Web site, you will be asked for specific personal data without which the registration will not be completed. For further information about how your personal data will be managed once you register, see the User Agreement at the footer of the site.

5. Use of the Service by Minors

The Community is intended for adult use only. It is not intended for minors under the age of 18, and we ask that minors not participate or submit any information to us.
