DXC Technology to Help Saab Modernize Its Workplace Services

STOCKHOLM, Feb 4, 2019 — DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company, has signed a two-year workplace services contract extension with Saab AB, Northern Europe’s leader in defense and security, to support Saab’s global expansion with a digital workplace solution that serves as the foundational collaboration platform for all of Saab and its partners. DXC will also provide service desk support for 18,000 users around the world.
A long-standing client of DXC, Saab is a highly respected and visible company with a global presence and a large partner network. The Gripen fighter aircraft is one of Saab’s key products.
Winning together
Having already entrusted parts of its IT delivery to DXC, Saab will now continue to evolve the digital foundation solution to further strengthen its business. This Microsoft- and Citrix-based solution for the digital workplace has proven so successful and innovative that DXC and Saab won the prestigious 2019 Citrix Innovation Award for Partners. “Our long-lasting partnership with DXC is now taking another step in supporting Saab’s global growth,” said Mats Hultin, Saab’s CIO.
