IDC names DXC “Leader” in managed security services
A second leading independent analyst firm, IDC, has named DXC a “Leader” in Managed Security Services worldwide. The IDC’s two new 2017 Worldwide and Western Europe Managed Security Services MarketScape reports rated DXC a “Leader,” citing our robust set of security offerings built on the strengths and partnerships of its legacy HPE ES and CSC organizations.
According to IDC, DXC, one of the largest security services companies in the world, offers a security portfolio that brought together strong partnerships and expertise in cloud security, orchestration and automation, compliance and risk management, security monitoring, threat management, and infrastructure services.
“These two companies together bring significant mass and expertise to the MSSP landscape. Both companies bring capabilities to the other to strengthen and fill gaps in the overall offering,” according to the IDC.
Additionally, “Both companies have a stable reputation and brand name. The combination of CSC and HPE will result in a span of new capabilities and complement some service gaps lacking in each. HPE's advisory and consulting services and CSC's strong partnerships will also enable DXC Technology to make a leap in creating new cloud security services as well as improve automation and orchestration techniques.”
