Coping with Quarantine - Live webinar
Thursday 9th April, 11AM GMT +1 (UK Time)
The coronavirus is upending enterprises all over the world: requiring new safeguards for people, dispersing workforces to remote locations and creating a pressing need for IT reinforcements and upgrades. The ubiquity and reliability of digital infrastructure, and the range of tools on offer opens up opportunity for contingency that hasn't been there before. It feels as though we are at a point where something that was already in the ether is shifting the workplace irreversibly in ways we cannot yet fully understand or integrate.
Naturally, some will be better equipped to handle this than others. The question is, how do we seize this opportunity? How do we show up through our digital tools and in person so that we can most effectively work together?
Join DXC and LEF for this on-line briefing where report co-author Victoria Ward will explore how:
- As leaders, how do we build the right environments—physically, digitally, and mentally—for our teams to achieve both collaborative and focus-time potential?
- As teams, how do we express and negotiate our shared working practices? How do we explicitly build in time for the social interaction and micro-moments of connection that happen very differently in a virtual setting?
- As an individual, how do I claim the best conditions for my own working style and support others in theirs?
The outcome will be a timely, practical and provocative set of insights into how we make this step change in ways of working, and make it a step that we’re all keen to take together.
