DXC Vietnam support poor children in the New School year
News Article -- August 03, 2020
On Aug 3rd 2020, we were very pleased to donate the necessary daily supplies (milk/sugar/uniform for students/cooking oil, detergent, stationery, etc.) to the children currently brought up at Hung Phuoc Pagoda in Ben Tre (about 120 km away from Ho Chi Minh City). The Hung Phuoc Center is currently taking care of 60 underprivileged children and providing these children with food and schooling. Especially, 60 gifts (included DXC bag, helmet, hand sanitizer, face-mask, thermal bottle, cookies, etc.) were also presented to the children who are fostered by the center. In addition, an amount of fund was also presented to the head of the center to help covering education expenses for the children and other operation fee at the center.
During this difficult situation, our support become very timely/meaningful and even more valuable given the fact that the charity centers currently receive less support from the business community due to COVID pandemic. Through this charity visit, we all hope that our contribution would bring the happiness to these lovely children which for them to prepare the new school year and stay safe during this challenging time.
